Tell me a little about your background.

I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Public Health. Shortly after graduation, I started working at Paychex in a sales role.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I became interested in medical sales because I wanted to combine my love for the medical field and my passion for sales.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

MSC Alumni.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I decided to attend MSC because I knew it was the next step I needed to take to pursue a career in medical device sales.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

All of the instructors at MSC were amazing and really took their time to make sure everyone successfully learned the material and also had a great experience. The hands-on learning was awesome and gave us an accurate perspective of what a medical device sales representative really does.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

I would recommend MSC to anyone looking to get into the medical sales industry and is ready to make that investment in their career. It broadens not only your knowledge of anatomy, pathologies, and procedures but also the sales and relationship building aspect of the job.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

About a year.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

We met for coffee, went over my resume, and got to know each other. The following week I had a ride-along where I was in spine surgery. The week after that is when I received my offer.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

After I attended MSC, I felt I had a good understanding of the life of a medical sales rep. The entire role was described perfectly, from the pathology and procedures we learned about, to reading X-rays, and even the training on OR protocol.
