Tell me a little about your background.
I attended North Carolina State University where I graduated with a bachelor?s degree in Science, Technology, and Society. After college, I spent 4 years working for a large tree company where I developed a strong work ethic and learned the importance of teamwork in a high-risk work environment. I aspired to do more and pursue a career where I could use my degree.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I am passionate about helping people, and I wanted a career that where I could apply my problem-solving skills in a competitive environment.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
My good friend Eborn Rawl attended the Medical Sales College in 2015. He recommended the school to me after quickly landing a job in the industry.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
After spending time shadowing a surgeon, I saw first-hand the important role reps played in the OR and I knew medical sales was a career I wanted to pursue.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The 8 weeks spent in Charlotte were truly amazing. Theresa Richards was a great instructor and her extensive knowledge of the industry was evident in her lectures. MSC gave me the technical knowledge and the hands-on experience to enter the field with confidence.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What is your current job like?
I am covering cases in Duke Raleigh Hospital with one other rep while I learn the accounts. I spend a lot of my time in the OR learning procedures and helping scrub techs with instrumentation.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Scott Binder?s lectures on how to land a job was game changing. He showed us how to use LinkedIn to contact hiring managers, which ultimately helped me to connect with individuals in the field. After reaching out to people on LinkedIn and following up in person, I was able to land an interview.
