Tell me a little about your background.

Pre-medical Biology graduate from Mississippi College.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I felt that the school would allow me to learn more about the medical sales field and allow me to network with the correct people.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Linked In.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Initial conversation with Kim Smalley.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

I had fun for the most part. The hands-on experience with the instruments and available implants was where I learned the most. Tilden is #1.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Great way to meet others with the same goal while also giving yourself the best chance to find a job in the hardest industry to get a job in.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

3 months.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

Two phone calls and an in-person interview. Since I was interviewing with a distributorship I felt as though my interview process may have been slightly easier than most. However, I did have to verbally display my knowledge of the field, anatomy, and products.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I wish I would have known that Linked In is the key to finding a job. Just be active on Linked In and when opportunities open up it is likely you will get a call.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Ability to learn products and procedures quickly.
