Tell me a little about your background.

Previously, I was a Project Manager for a custom home builder.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Referred by an employer in the industry.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Without having a background in the medical industry, I felt that attending MSC would be necessary for me to become educated about the field before stepping into it.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training at MSC was great. I felt like the teachers really cared and wanted us to succeed. It was challenging and demanding but doable for someone who is willing to put in the work.

Describe your Career Development training experience.

Our career development training went well. It was informative and helpful for preparing for interviews.

How did your MSC training help you transition from a different industry into the fast-paced, high-stakes nature of medical device sales?

For me, it was all about the anatomy training and hands-on experience. I was already confident that I could perform well in high-pressure situations. However, without having a background in the medical field, it really helped me understand the body and the products I would be selling. I felt the teachers also did a great job explaining the industry and what to expect in our class.

How did placement services help accelerate your entry into the medical device sales industry?

My placement services team was very quick to answer my calls and walk me through the different situations I faced throughout my interview process. They were one of the most helpful parts of the program.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

I believe someone should attend MSC if they don't already have a background in the industry. The program not only prepares you for what you might face in the field but also teaches you about the devices and how to prepare for any situation. They provide hands-on training with tools and equipment you will be exposed to daily. They also help you get in front of hiring managers that you typically wouldn't be able to get in front of without some kind of connection.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I didn't try before attending MSC.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

My interview process was very long and intense. I had to prepare multiple presentations as well as shadow in the OR and attend a cadaver lab.
