Tell me a little about your background.

I am a Biomedical engineer with a Master's in Engineering Administration. With 2 years of medical sales experience, and 6 years of outside sales experience. I am from Mexico city.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I have always been interested in Medical Sales, that is why I studied Biomedical engineering while working as an outside sales representative.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Through Facebook and Medreps.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

The placement percentage. The fact that they would help me make connections and try to get a job.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My experience was really good, a lot of information and experiences were shared during the training. I met amazing people, my classmates and teachers.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

It is really good to learn about the medical sales field. For me the main reason to attend would be the networking that you do with your teachers and classmates, and the way they can help you get a job.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

About a year

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had a call with the recruiter. 3 days afterwords I had a call with my territory manager Jon de la Garza. And after one day I had a call with the CEO Rob Wolter. One week after they called me to say I got the job.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

My personal experience, as I have already worked as a medical sales representative, but in Mexico city. What I learned (or re-learned) is how the business is made here in the US. How to talk properly and learn more about the work culture as a sales representative in the US.
