Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I had years of experience in DME and non-surgical medical sales but not surgery sales. I also practiced as a Physical Therapist for a few years and hold a MS Degree in PT, so have a strong ortho/neuro background.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I had taken a few years off from work to focus on my family and knew I wanted to take my career to next level and work alongside surgeons in OR and in orthopedics.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I had heard bits and pieces about it over the years. But then a friend of mine who worked for Wright told me that she helped train a new class of reps and 90% of them were MSC grads. I visited the Denver office and met with Kim and Scott and decided to move forward.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I wasn?t going to gain the knowledge that I needed to get to the next level (surgery sales) without it. I ultimately decided to attend after meeting in person with Kim and Scott.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The majority of my training was a combination phone call/online presentation with Rob 3 nights/wk. The last week was spent at the Denver facility, which was by far my favorite part, but it did feel a bit rushed.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
About 8 months
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I had attended MSC years ago instead of waiting.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Besides all of the medical information and knowledge, I think learning how to create a business plan for medical sales was the most valuable.
