Tell me a little about your background.

I went to Utah State University where I earned an undergrad in Exercise Science and then a Master?s in Kinesiology. I was on the path to become a Physical Therapist when I decided that I wanted to do attempt something different.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I knew about the human body and had worked with patients who had had implants put in and wanted to learn more about them.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

A recent graduate from MSC mentioned that I should look into MSC to really get my foot in the door and make getting a job easier. She was right, and it worked!

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

The ease and possibility of getting a job after taking the course

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Overall it was a very positive experience. The instructors really helped the students understand the concepts and material during the course, and always willing to share advice.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

I don?t really know how someone can get into the industry not knowing the background information that MSC provides. I thought I knew a lot, but I was quickly humbled, and still have so much more to learn. Between the education and the networking/connections MSC, it made getting a job much easier.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I didn?t really apply to many jobs before hand, because friends who had similar backgrounds were unsuccessful in getting similar jobs.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

My interview process with Stryker lasted 2+ months and 7 interviews (5 phone, 2 in-person, and few calls here and there). I think it was well worth the wait though

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

I really had a lot of help with one on one interview questions and interviewing counseling that was very helpful. Knowing certain procedures and devices, along with surgeon/hospital profiling really helped also.
