Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I was a student who wanted to break into the industry for years. After a year of professional sales experience, I decided to take the final plunge into the industry and go to MSC. Best decision I have ever made.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
Medical sales is a very intriguing career! Each day is different, it?s fulfilling, and you feel as if you?re really changing patients? lives.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
After doing a bunch of research on how to break into the industry, I kept on coming across Medical Sales College. After doing extensive research on the program, looking at the placement numbers, etc., I knew this was the right move.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I knew I was willing to do whatever it took to finally break in to the industry. This was the final step that I could add to my professional sales experience and set me apart from other entry level candidates.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
My experience was incredible. Both of my trainers were top notch, and I couldn?t have asked for a better experience. You learn a lot in a short period of time, so be ready to work hard. However, it?s all worth it in the end.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
Approximately a year and a half.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
Candidates should know exactly what this industry entails before trying to break in. This isn?t your normal 9-5 job, don?t expect to work 40 hours a week, and be ready to work harder than you ever have before. In addition, even if you have sales experience on your resume, be prepared to go in with an open mind on the sales side of things. Selling to surgeons and hospitals is a whole different animal, so have an open mind.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The most valuable piece of info would have to be just what this industry entails in general. From the workload, to the hours, to the work/life balance. MSC gives you a great understanding of what you?re getting yourself into, but how it?s all worth it in the end.
