Tell me a little about your background.
I am 22 years old, a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati and the ORT class in Denver Colorado. I have 2 older brothers, one that lives in New York and one that lives in downtown Philly. I love reading, traveling and spending time with my family.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I had a personal experience dealing with 5 knee surgeries. I took interest in a field involving medicine and surgeons and the new technologies in today?s medical world. It all made a perfect fit for me.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I was referred to the school by a friend and it seemed like the perfect way to get into medical sales.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
It was an amazing experience. It gave me the foundation of what this industry is all about and I learned so much.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I didn?t ever try to apply, I talked to a lot of reps who had been in the industry and they all gave me the response ?get your foot in the door? and this was the best decision for me.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I don?t wish I had known anything. I am glad I had a reference going into the school of what it was about and I am glad that I had DC (my professor) he helped prepare us for what the industry is all about. As I begin my career I am sure I will find out more about myself and my ability I have in the industry but there is nothing I wish I knew more of, I have a great foundation because of Medical Sales College. What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Be the expert on your information, be confident. Always remember that if anything goes wrong in the case- it is YOUR FAULT!
