Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I graduated college with a bioengineering degree. Having no idea what I wanted to do with my life, going into college and throughout college, I had many different internships to help me figure it out. I did research in Japan one summer, and interned with K2M another. Interning at K2M is really what made me want to get into medical sales in the first place.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I was interested in sales because I loved how educated the sales reps are on their products and how they?re the product specialists in the OR.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
MSC was advertised in one of my classes at college as a way to take a step into the sales world.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I attended MSC because I had applied to a ton of sales positions and had not gotten many responses. I thought MSC was a good way to enhance my resume to get a job.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
MSC did a great job at covering the basics of biologics and spine. Because of my background in Bioengineering and my internship at K2M, I knew a lot more information than I originally thought I would. MSC made the information easy to understand but also covered everything that was necessary to know.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
A few months.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
I think the most valuable thing I learned at MSC was to be confident in what I already know. Going into MSC I would have said that I know nothing about the spine/spine surgery, when in reality I knew a lot more than I gave myself credit for. I talked about this a lot in my interviews. It shows to me that even though I don?t think I?m learning anything, I?m still soaking in information.
