Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I became interested in the medical industry due to my father being a 100% disabled veteran. Having taken care of him throughout my childhood, I knew I wanted to pursue something in the industry. Upon seeing my success as a business woman I pursued gaining entrance into the college.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

LinkedIn

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I had been interviewing for sales positions to use as stepping stones to get me interviews for medical device positions. While I went through the motions of the hiring process with these companies (some very large? Keyence, Gartner, etc) I decided I was done working jobs I had no passion for and took a leap of faith.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My instructors were all top notch. All extremely knowledgeable about the industry and everyone had their own style which kept things interesting. Overall I had a wonderful experience? I wouldn?t trade it for the world. Theresa was seriously exceptional and truly made such an enormous impact on my life. She certainly prepared me for my interview as I was asked many questions covered in class during my interview. Her style is challenging, fair and dynamic (which makes the program 10x more respectable) using real-life scenarios which made my experience invaluable. What an idol.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

MSC prepares you for this industry. It?s impossible to gain this knowledge unless you work in this field. MSC truly does help get you interviews. Even though I connected with two prospective employers by self-engagement via LinkedIn, the experience on your profile gives a huge leg up (I was told this during every interview).

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

6 years.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I interviewed for 3 companies: Zimmer Biomet, Misonix and Intuitive Surgical for the da Vinci system Zimmer: (while still in school) Connected with rep on LinkedIn, was invited to apply to position, 3 months of interviews. Before 5th round I accepted offer with Misonix. Intuitive surgical: Connected on Linkedin 1 week post grad. Was invited to apply. 3 rounds of interviews and did not accept invitation to move forward because I accepted offer at Misonix. Misonix: Ken Smith reached out to me via email 2 weeks post grad. 1 phone interview and 1 in person. Was hired on 5 days after in person interview.
