Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I am interested in medical sales because it is a perfect blend of my passion for medicine and my passion for competition and sales.

When job searching, I came across MSC and then immediately called the school to get more information.

I was confident that attending the school would help strengthen my knowledge and understanding of the industry, which would ultimately help me get a job.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
At Medical Sales College we covered the orthopaedic reconstruction procedures (total hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty) in great detail. We spend numerous days going through detailed powerpoints, watching videos of cases and practicing the procedural steps with saw bones. At MSC we also covered trauma cases and instruments and mastered the terminology for different implants used. Also, we covered the science and reasoning of biologics.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I would have known how long it takes to get into the industry but MSC fully covered that it can take some students 6 days and some 6 months, it just depends on location and the job market.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
I truly believe the most valuable thing I learned from MSC was what to expect in the industry. I left the school knowing it was going to be tough to get in and stay in but I am glad I knew what was to expect. I value the stories we heard from our instructors and their experiences with different physicians and cases in the industry.
