Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I was in Distribution Management for 8 years and Sales 8 years before that. I did not have a medical background in any way shape or form. I just had a passion for trying to get into this industry
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
Through my own adversity with Spine trauma I developed the interest in medical device sales
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I found their website in 2010 and followed their progress through the years
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I was tired of being in a career that I was no longer passionate about and wanted to pursue something in which I had genuine interest.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
I don?t have the words or the skill to write about the absolutely fantastic experience I had with MSC. That being said, they took someone who had no knowledge of anatomy or medical devices and gave me the ability to speak intelligently with recruiters and hiring managers about the devices and protocols used in this profession.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
On and off for 8 years
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
That my resume went straight in the trash before I had MSC in the education section. I never realized just how oblivious I was to the vast amount of information that a medical device rep needed to have. If I knew this before I would have attended sooner.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The competition is fierce, and you better know your stuff and be confident. This helped me to be sure I was thorough in every step of my job search. Research, research and more research.
